✍️ Submission Guidelines

Association of Nigeria Public Administrator’s Journal (ANPAJ)

🔒 Originality and Exclusivity

The ANPA Journal accepts only original, unpublished manuscripts that are not under consideration by any other journal, publisher, or platform.

By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that:

• The work is entirely original

• It has not been previously published in any form

• It is not currently under review elsewhere

• All necessary permissions for copyrighted material have been obtained

Submissions must be made exclusively to the ANPA Journal for first publication consideration.

📄 Abstract and Keywords

All manuscripts must include:

• An abstract of no more than 250 words

• A maximum of six (6) keywords

The abstract should clearly summarise the study’s objective, methodology, key findings, and principal conclusions. It should reflect the core contribution of the research to public administration and governance scholarship.

🧱 Manuscript Structure and Formatting

Manuscripts must not exceed 20 A4 pages, including references, tables, figures, and appendices.

Formatting Requirements

• Font: Times New Roman

• Font Size: 12-point

• Line Spacing: Double-spaced

• Page Size: A4

• Margins: Standard (1 inch on all sides)

Referencing Style

The Journal accepts:

• APA Style, 7th Edition of Style — Preferred

Authors are strongly encouraged to use the APA style 7th edition citation format.

All citations must be generated using automatic referencing tools to facilitate editorial processing.

📑 Manuscript Organisation

Submissions should follow this structure:

1. Title

2. Abstract

3. Keywords

4. Main Body (with clearly defined headings and subheadings)

5. Conclusion and Policy Recommendations (where applicable)

6. References/Bibliography

7. Tables (clearly titled and appropriately referenced)

8. Figures and Legends (if applicable)

9. Appendices (where necessary)

Tables and figures must be properly labeled and cited within the text.

🌐 Online Submission

All manuscripts must be submitted through the ANPA Journal online submission portal.

Authors should:

• Click the “Submit Manuscript” button on the website

• Upload the manuscript file

• Upload a separate cover page containing the author details

• Provide required author information and declarations

Deadlines for submissions and special calls for papers will be announced on the Journal’s website and official communication channels.

📘 Author Copies

Authors whose manuscripts are accepted and published will receive a digital copy of the journal issue in which their article appears.

⚖️ Conflict of Interest Declaration

Authors must disclose any financial, professional, or personal conflicts of interest that could influence the research or its interpretation.

If no conflicts exist, authors must include a statement declaring:

“The authors declare no conflict of interest.”

The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors:

• Approve the final manuscript version

• Consent to submission

• Agree with the conflict-of-interest declaration

🌍 Language Policy

Manuscripts must be written in English, using British spelling conventions consistent with standard academic usage.

Authors may, where appropriate, include an additional abstract in another language alongside the English version.

📌 Editorial Consideration

Only manuscripts that align with the aims and scope of ANPA Journal will be considered for publication.

All submissions undergo:

• Initial editorial screening

• Plagiarism detection

• Double-blind peer review

By submitting a manuscript, authors certify that:

• The manuscript is their original work

• They hold the rights to all included content

• The work has not been previously published

• The submission is made exclusively for first publication in the ANPA Journal
